HENRI-ROBERT (Henri Robert) - Lot 111
HENRI-ROBERT (Henri Robert) (1863-1936) Lawyer, historian. President of the Paris Bar, major figure of the French Bar. Autograph letter signed Paris, February 26, 1917. 1 page in-8. Letterhead of the Ordre des Avocats à la Cour d'Appel de Paris. Signed "Henri-Robert". Addressed "à Mon cher Ami". Intellectual and commemorative letter Henri-Robert evokes with interest the letters of the recently deceased psychiatrist and medical historian Gilbert Ballet (1853-1916): "...the nobly combative letters of the late Gilbert Ballet..." A letter testifying to a cross-view between legal and intellectual circles, in a context of remembrance and homage.
