Set of 8 autograph letters signed and 1 autograph card signed, addressed to Henri Quentin (known as Paul d'Estrée). New York, Montfermeil and Paris, December 1904 - December 1911. Formats in-8 and in-12, some on headed paper (Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal; The Lenox Library, Buffalo). Important literary and publishing correspondence A fine set of letters, followed over several years, testifying to the intellectual and professional relations between Frantz Funck-Brentano and the writer and historian Henri Quentin, known as Paul d'Estrée, with whom he collaborated notably for Les Nouvellistes (Paris, Hachette, 1905) and Figaro and its predecessors. This correspondence, of great interest for the history of publishing and the press in the early 20th century, sheds direct light on the production, distribution and reception of historical and literary works of the period.
