The story follows the adventures of Tom and his friend Becky Thatcher, illustrated here in the iconic cave scene, lit by candlelight amidst the bats. Chiqui de la Fuente, known for his dynamic, expressive style akin to the school of caricature, has devoted much of his career to adapting the classics of world literature for young people (Aladdin, Le Petit Poucet, Voyage au center de la Terre...).
