SPIROU - Journal album, n°99 Dupuis, 1965. Large in-4 hardback, cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. A rare and attractive collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue 99, part of the great classic series of Dupuis hardback albums. The cover, in Franquin's instantly recognizable style, features a scene full of humor and movement, with the Marsupilami appearing in the foreground in an acrobatic pose, facing Spirou and Fantasio. This edgy, highly graphic composition is one of the most attractive covers for the series in the second half of the 1960s. Appropriately, the volume brings together a particularly rich collection of the newspaper's publications: Spirou et Fantasio, Gaston Lagaffe, Lucky Luke, Buck Danny, Les Schtroumpfs, as well as numerous complete stories and secondary series from the Marcinelle school.
