SPIROU - Journal album, n°65 Dupuis, 1958. Large in-4 hardback, red cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. A very handsome early collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue 65 of the famous suite of Dupuis-bound albums. This volume includes issues no. 1029 to 1039, published in 1958, at the height of the Marcinelle school's heyday. It features the great names of Dupuis: Franquin, Morris, Peyo, Roba and Will, in a period particularly sought-after by fans of early collections. The highly decorative cover features Spirou and Fantasio in their red car, in the heart of a lively urban scene, under the gaze of a traffic light whose famous "clac clic" gives the image its full movement. This composition is one of the most emblematic covers of the series in the late 1950s.
