Very attractive collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 117ᵉ Album du Journal, bringing together the issues for 1970. The particularly decorative cover announces "more than 4,500 images of beautiful comics!", in a vignette layout that is an excellent testament to the magazine's graphic identity. The first plate, dominated by the Marsupilami in a series of humorous sketches, offers a composition that is highly emblematic of Franquin's universe: immediate visual humor, dynamic strokes and great legibility.
