SPIROU - Journal album, n°116 Dupuis, 1970. Large in-4 hardback, yellow cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. Important collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 116ᵉ Album du Journal, bringing together issues from the beginning of 1970. This volume follows in the footsteps of the large Dupuis hardback collections of the pivotal period between the late 1960s and early 1970s. The cover is particularly elegant, with a highly graphic composition: a nocturnal urban scene dominated by a female silhouette in uniform, treated in a cool palette of blues and pinks, typical of the modern aesthetic of the period. The whole offers a singular, more "cinematic" iconography, which sets it apart from the rest of the series.
