SEVENTEENTH-CENTURY CHEST - Lot 206
SEVENTEENTH-CENTURY CHEST Box in ebony veneer, inlaid tortoiseshell, walnut and fruitwood fillets. It opens with a hinged flap revealing a large storage space decorated with a rosette and three small compartments. The reverse of the flap features a mirror (later). Gilt bronze keyways and side handles. 17th century H 18.5 x W 43.5 x D 29 cm
