19TH CENTURY Three-panel embroidery on a chocolate silk background with free motifs. Embroidered relief design in shades of turquoise, pink and cream, featuring Corinthian columns topped with floral pots or suns. The central panel is richly decorated with rocaille scrolls and palms, holding a falling purse with compartments. Gold and blue diamond-patterned border. (Worn, torn and missing).
