MOUSTIERS, IN THE STYLE OF Large polychrome-glazed earthenware jardinière, oval shape with rich decoration of flowers in garlands and in fall. Each side features a large cartouche, one depicting the god Pan emerging from the reeds to chase loves, the second depicting Bacchus on a chariot traced by a lion ridden by a satyr. The side handles and the four feet are in the shape of fantastic animals. (Wear, chips on the rim and missing enamel, cracks at the bottom of the basin. 17TH CENTURY. 16 x 50 x 33 cm
