With its silkscreened stainless steel plate. Very fine condition. Full-color screen-printed stainless-steel plate, produced in nine color passages, depicting an emblematic scene from the Les Maîtres de l'Orge saga. This composition takes up the realistic, humanist graphic universe developed by Jean-Claude Vallès around the Steenfort family, a great social fresco of the brewing world. The copy is numbered and signed by Vallès, as indicated on the publisher's label on the reverse. This plate is an integral part of the first edition of volume 6, published by Glénat in collaboration with Apostrophes. Originally, it accompanied this deluxe edition exclusively and was not intended to be sold separately, making it a sought-after collector's item when offered on its own. Printed on a stainless steel base, it offers excellent rendering quality, with dense, long-lasting colors. The ornamental decoration framing the scene underlines the graphic elegance of the whole and reinforces its decorative interest. The plate measures 23 × 34 cm. A copy in very good overall condition, with only slight superficial marks from handling, but no alteration to the image or signature. Plate sold without album.
