PAUL ÉMILE COLIN (1867-1949) "The Harvest", Description: Sheet size: 50.7 x 32.5 cm. Signature : signed. Technique: Original woodcut in black and white. Proof on vellum, justified "30/108". He remains very attached to his Lorraine origins, whose landscapes, villages and inhabitants continue to inspire his work. Colin was one of the founding members of the Société de la gravure sur bois originale in 1911. He was vice-president from 1920 to 1935. From 1920 onwards, he traveled to Italy, Sicily, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. These visits inspired his new approach to color.
