JOU (Luis Felipe-Vicente Jou i Senabre, known as Louis). Born in Gracia (Spain). 1882-1968. Painter and engraver. Original pen drawing addressed to Madame Julienne, stylist at Poiret. Paris, February 16, 1929. 1 page in-4, paper monogrammed and addressed to her. Size: 27.5 cm x 19.3 cm. Amusing caricature in which Jou depicts himself, wearing a floppy hat and enormous round glasses that protrude from his face. The woman at his side, dressed in a full pelisse, wears a veil. The painter wrote this comment under the drawing: ...That's Jou so sorry (not) to see you...
