The painter Toulouse-Lautrec, fascinated by the hypnotic swirls of the dancer's veils, painted several famous portraits of her. Loïe Fuller maintained a romantic relationship with Gabrielle Bloch, known as "Gab", one of her admirers. They shared their lives until the dancer's death.
