XIX CENTURY. FIREPLACE SET RAINGO FRERES - Lot 149
XIX CENTURY. FIREPLACE SET RAINGO FRERES LATE 19TH CENTURY Gilt-bronze mantel set including a pendulum clock and two girandoles. The clock is decorated in rocaille with acanthus leaves, flowers and shells. The dial features Roman numerals for the hours on a white enamel background (the number VIII is missing). Signed Raingo Frères. Balance wheel present, movement signed. The girandoles have the same design, with six arms of light. The bobèche on the upper arm is completed with a removable stopper decorated with grapes (traces of oxidation). Dimensions clock: H 58 W 35 D 22 H girandoles 68 cm
