GEORGES REMI DIT HERGÉ (1907-1983) Le lotus bleu Éditions Casterman, 1936/1939, 4th plate white, spine red, black and white. Good condition, bottom right corner and top corner dulled, spine slightly crushed at top and bottom. This album is a curiosity insofar as it was made up inside with 4 color hors-texte and outside with the plates of a 1936 edition. This is not a remounting, but an occasional procedure at Casterman, notably when the publisher was out of stock. They used whatever was available. A very rare album.
