GEORGES REMI KNOWN AS HERGÉ (1907-1983) Six separate double-sided drawings of Tintin and Snowy, the Carreidas 160, the head of a statue, Rastapopoulos and Allan, Dr. Krollspell, Mik Ezdanitoff and forming, with six others, a sort of mobile that was intended for booksellers on the occasion of the press release of Flight 714 to Sydney in 1968 but was never finalized. India ink and watercolor. Framed under glass. Drawing dimensions: Tintin and Snowy heads: 92 x 105 mm, Carreidas 160: 43 x 246 mm, Statue head: 86 x 81 mm, Rastapopoulos and Allan: 87 x 107 mm, Dr. Krollspell: 100 x 74 mm, Mik Ezdanitoff: 96 x 75 mm Total dimensions with frame: H 71 x W 58 cm Status: Certificate of authenticity from the Comité d'authentification des oeuvres d'Hergé dated October 22, 2019. Anecdote: Ezdanitoff's name comes from the popular Dutch-speaking Brussels idiom "Is dat niet tof?", meaning "isn't this great?"
