OMEGA SPEEDMASTER 145.022-74ST Men's stainless steel wristwatch, circa 1975, black dial with Professional, painted Omega logo, white minute track and tritium markers, small seconds at 9 o'clock, 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 3 o'clock and 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock. Steel bezel, black aluminum insert. Steel screwed caseback signed Omega reference 145.022-74ST. Omega mechanical chronograph movement caliber 861, antimagnetic soft iron cage, numbered 31316714. Leather strap. Functional movement at the time of the expertise. A stainless steel mechanical chronograph movement wristwatch, c. 1975. Diameter 42 mm Reference 145.022 is the first Omega Speedmaster to be equipped with the famous caliber 861, succeeding caliber 321. More precisely, the reference 145.022-74 is the first Omega Speedmaster reference to lose the "Step" on the dial. The piece proposed here sees all its elements correspond to the time of production, from the bezel through the serial number of the movement. This last one starting in 31 million is low, and we notice it by the caliber 861 which has its chronograph brake in metal. The "Speedmaster" on the dial has its medium length S, the bezel is in very good condition with the dot next to the 0 of the 70, and the letter C of "Tachymeter" elongated and closed.
