BEOTHY ETIENNE (1897-1961) "The problem of creation", Lecture read on the occasion of the first "abstract art" exhibition in Budapest on February 3, 1938. Paris, Chanth, 1938, 178x137mm, 32p. stapled in a lithographed cover composed by the author (slightly faded). A founding member and then vice-president of the Abstraction-Création group from 1932 to 1936, Béothy organized a one-man show in 1934 under the aegis of this group. In 1938, he organized the first Franco-Hungarian abstract art exhibition in Budapest and gave this lecture. Cover a little faded, text in French. (101566)
