Poem by Shuntarô Tanikawa, texts by Junzô Sakakura, Masachika Murata, numerous photographs of stadiums, swimming pools and sports centers, the first part of which presents examples from around the world: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Mexico... The second part presents the facilities built for the 1964 Olympic Games in Japan, notably the Yoyogi Stadium designed by Kenzô Tange.
