An album devoted to one of Atget’s major documentary series: Parisian interiors photographed in the early 20th century, ranging from bourgeois apartments to artists’ studios. This volume is an updated reprint of the catalog for the exhibition held at the Musée Carnavalet in 1982. Atget’s photographs originally served a genuine documentary purpose: to create an inventory of the interiors and living conditions in Paris during his time. Condition: good copy. Some scuffing and signs of wear on the dust jacket; interior is in good condition.
