Vertical pair of 1.00 dirham postage stamps, issued to commemorate the 9th Mediterranean Games in Casablanca in 1983. Blue and gold design featuring the Games’ emblem, consisting of three rings surmounted by a motif evoking stadium bleachers, with a monumental silhouette in the background. Inscriptions in Arabic and French: “9th Mediterranean Games – Casablanca 1983.” Condition: mint pair, unused, full perforation. Good overall condition. The vertical line visible in the center corresponds to the presentation backing and is not a crease in the stamp.
