In-8 paperback, pale green covered board printed in black, approximately 125/126 pp., numerous compositions, initials, and vignettes woodcut by Louis Bouquet, printed in red and bistre. The 1921 edition and Bouquet’s contribution are well documented by the BnF. First edition of this adaptation. Limited print run of 860 copies. This copy bears the number 709, one of 800 copies on tinted Lafuma paper, numbered 61 through 860. The 60 head copies are divided among 10 Old Japanese and 50 Van Gelder Holland papers. This copy is bound as originally published: original cover preserved, full margins, tinted paper, and illustrations in excellent condition. The cover is slightly faded/sun-bleached and shows some signs of wear, but it is a good copy in terms of its editorial condition.
