A richly illustrated book devoted to the Indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast of North America, their arts and traditions: sculptures and totem poles, masks, ceremonial objects, potlatch, mythology, and ritual practices. The illustrations include, in particular, remarkable masks and sculptures from the cultures of the Northwest Coast. Interior in good condition. Dust jacket is heavily worn, with scuffing, tears, and significant paper loss, particularly on the upper part of the back cover; the headband and edges are damaged. The book block is preserved inside the dust jacket.
