SPIROU - Journal Collection, No. 77 Dupuis, 1960–1961. Large quarto hardcover, red cloth spine, front cover illustrated in color. A beautiful vintage collection of *Le Journal Spirou*, corresponding to issue No. 77, a direct continuation of the great Franquin era. The cover, which is particularly spectacular, depicts a futuristic aerial scene: red flying vehicles soaring through a blue sky, with the cockpit and the series’ iconic characters in the foreground. This illustration is fully in keeping with the scientific and visionary universe developed around Zorglub and Champignac. This issue is among the collections prized for their distinctly “science-fiction” aesthetic, typical of the very early 1960s.
