Hachette / Asterix - The Roman Centurion (No. 64) - The Grea - Lot 38
Hachette / Asterix - The Roman Centurion (No. 64) - The Great Gallery of Characters - Mint in blister pack
A beautiful collectible resin figurine from the legendary world of Asterix the Gaul, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.
This piece is part of the famous “The Great Gallery of Characters” collection published by Hachette. It depicts a Roman Centurion in a very characteristic tragicomic pose following a fierce encounter with our indomitable Gauls. The figurine perfectly captures the details of his military gear: his silver breastplate (lorica musculata), his helmet with a red crest (cresta), his green-and-brown-striped pteryges, his sandals, not to mention his black eye (with a black eye patch) and his utterly dazed expression.
