STRELETSKI (Camille). - Lot 292
STRELETSKI (Camille). French psychiatrist and graphologist. Autograph letter signed “Camille Streletski,” addressed to a correspondent. Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours, Wednesday, the 21st (undated). 1 page, in-8 format. Letter bearing his name, with printed address and visiting hours. A short but interesting letter of intellectual courtesy in which Camille Streletski acknowledges receipt of a recently received book: “I have just received *Trois figures*, which I will read, as I do everything you have published, with pleasure and benefit…” The tone is that of an attentive and benevolent colleague, underscoring his constant interest in his correspondent’s work. This letter bears witness to the scholarly exchanges and networks of intellectual dissemination within the French medical-psychological community during the interwar period. Camille Streletski practiced notably at Sainte-Anne Hospital, where he worked alongside Jacques Lacan, and contributed to the development of scientific graphology.
