Signed autograph letter Paris, February 4, 1901. 1/2 folio page. Addressed to Professor Henry Crew. Beautiful embossed letterhead bearing his name, title, and address. Signed “Rudolph Koenig.” Letter of a scientific and technical nature Koenig informs his correspondent that the ordered acoustic instruments have been shipped, while apologizing for the delay: “…the aftermath of a serious operation and a very painful illness made it absolutely impossible for me to finish them sooner…” ” An interesting document combining: - scientific work - high-precision craftsmanship - a personal dimension (illness)
