A major publication devoted to one of the leading figures of the postwar Italian avant-garde. Enrico Baj developed a satirical and whimsical world combining collages, assemblages of fabrics, braids, trimmings, and repurposed objects.
The book reproduces several of his iconic compositions, populated by grotesque figures and imaginary characters, in which humor, political criticism, and a taste for the Baroque intertwine.
