A very handsome early collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue no. 70, featuring issues no. 1081 to no. 1091, i.e. the very beginning of 1959, at the height of the Dupuis classic period. The particularly evocative cover features the Comte de Champignac in front of a red automobile, in a nocturnal setting with bare trees and a full moon. The composition, by André Franquin, belongs to the emblematic covers of the collections of the late 1950s.
