A rare and sought-after early collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to issue 60 of the prestigious series of bound albums published by Dupuis. This volume includes issues no. 977 to 989, covering the period from January 3 to March 28, 1957, in one of the most emblematic years in the newspaper's history. It features the great names of post-war Franco-Belgian comics, including Franquin, Morris, Peyo, Jijé, Will and Paape, at the height of the Marcinelle school's output. The spectacular cover features the Marsupilami in a dynamic jungle scene typical of Franquin's imagination, with instantly recognizable graphics.
