SPIROU - Journal album, n°177 Dupuis, 1983. Large in-4 hardback, red cloth spine, illustrated front cover, 640 pages. Very attractive collection from the 177ᵉ Album du Journal Spirou, particularly sought-after for its spectacular cover featuring two prehistoric creatures in a volcanic setting. The graphic treatment, very narrative and almost cinematographic, gives this volume a strong personality. The warm-toned composition, combining ochres, reds and purples, makes this a particularly decorative album. In my opinion, this cover is one of the most successful in this numerological series.
