SPIROU - Journal album, n°166 Dupuis, 1981. Large in-4 hardback, red cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color, 676 pages. Very handsome collection from the 166ᵉ Album du Journal Spirou, particularly remarkable for its cover with its resolutely science-fiction aesthetic. The composition, built around a space corridor setting in deep red hues, immediately evokes the great adventures of Spirou and Fantasio in the Virus universe. The cover has a real graphic strength, very typical of the early 1980s, with an almost cinematographic treatment.
