SPIROU - Journal album, n°124 Dupuis, 1971. Large in-4 hardback, yellow cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. Important collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 124ᵉ Album du Journal, published in 1971. The cover, highly emblematic of Dupuis production in the early 1970s, highlights the tagline: "700 pages - 1000 gags", with a humorous scene of the Smurfs handling a crate exploding into a black cloud. The extremely legible and visually powerful composition makes this a particularly attractive issue. The contrast between the soft green background, yellow spine and central typography gives this volume a remarkable presence in any library.
