SPIROU - Journal album, n°109 Dupuis, 1966. Large in-4 hardback, yellow cloth spine, first cover illustrated in color. Very attractive collection from Journal Spirou, corresponding to 109ᵉ Album du Journal, in the great suite of Dupuis hardback albums from the golden age. The particularly dynamic cover features Spirou, Fantasio and the Marsupilami in an improvised boat, with the spectacular words "nearly 700 pages of gags and adventures" occupying the sail. This composition, full of movement and humor, admirably sums up the spirit of the magazine: adventure, fantasy and editorial richness. This volume is particularly interesting in the sequel for its highly decorative presentation and almost advertising dimension, making it an issue often appreciated by collectors.
