Description & edition Rare first reprint - 2ᵉ blue checkered boards with 36 titles, red cloth spine. - This is the 2ᵉ album in the Pom and Teddy collection, in which Pom, circus child, Teddy, and Maggy the horsewoman have adventures tinged with exoticism and fantasy (here the giant Tarass Boulba, talismans, tigers, etc.). First published in Belgian Tintin in 1953, then in French Tintin in 1954, Le Talisman noir is considered one of Craenhals' narrative and graphic masterpieces. Condition Hardcover: good condition, corners a little rubbed, small traces and micro-scratches of use on the cover. Solid red cloth spine, slightly darkened at edge. Clean boards, fresh colors, very slight handling marks. Interior: very good condition, paper well preserved, no visible foxing, signatures tightly bound.
