Originally, Heracles, son of Zeus and Alcmene, who begat him after taking on the appearance of Amphitryon, was named Alcide (The Strong One), after his grandfather Alcée. Later, Heracles kills his lyre master and is exiled. Endemione: In Greek mythology, Endemione is either a simple shepherd or a king of Elide, depending on the version. He is best known as one of the lovers of Selene, goddess of the Moon.
