GIO PONTI (1891 - 1979) GIO PONTI (1891-1979) & VENINI Eight-light chandelier in polychrome translucent blown glass, central basket with eight S-bent arms terminating in wide translucent glass bobèches scalloped at the edges, upper shaft in gilded metal ringed with colored spheres. Dated and numbered. H 84 x D 89 cm HISTORICAL Designed by Gio Ponti in 1946 and reissued by Venini since the 1980s.
