Deprived of the pleasure of meeting the amiable (...) author of so many works at once comic, sensitive and moral, he asks him to accept with the homage of his gratitude, that of his most distinguished consideration...Les trois quartiers, a comedy in three acts and prose by Louis-Benoît Picard and Edouard Mazères, was first performed at the Théâtre Français on May 31, 1827.
