ITALIAN AEOLUS FIN XVII E SIECLE Polychrome earthenware plaque depicting the Virgin and Child on a throne, surrounded by two adorers. The central scene is set in a landscape populated by cherubs' heads, all set in a feigned architecture formed by columns supported by angels, with a tympanum at the top decorated with floral garlands. Inscribed on the reverse "Manciero S Andiago di Milano 1675" (worn and missing). 42 x 23 cm
